The above is a classic combination that can be accessorized and suited to match all of your needs. All you need is several good staple pieces like a good pair of leather boots, classic jewelry, a nice button-up shirt, and a trendy completer piece. A completer piece is meant to be the focal point of the outfit, something that grabs the attention. It's usually a blazer or a leather jacket, but in this case its a cropped sweater with full lace lining and metal embellished clasp. In this Carven look, for example, the focal point is the tailored blazer with exaggerated coattails, and the gray-wash jeans, black shoes, and skinny belt simply support it. My sweater is vintage and was a gift from my Aunt Jo. I consider it to be the epitome of classic beauty and it can obviously be worn again and again in a variety of different settings.
