I don't want to cycle or recycle revenge

(Hat: thrifted, Top: thrifted, Blazer: thrifted, Necklace: Forever 21, Belt: American Eagle, Jeans: Nordstrom Rack, Shoes: thrifted, Bag: thrifted, Ring: Glitter)

One thing that I see just as often in the thrift stores as I do on the runways are patterned blazers. Blazers do wonders for your figure and look professional and polished even with a pair of jeans. The general style and silhouette of a blazer or suit jacket goes in and out of fashion very slowly, so a vintage blazer found at the thrift store. If you have a petite frame, you can usually cut the shoulder pads right out of them, but if you prefer a strong shoulder just remember to keep the rest of your outfit slim and narrow. You can cinch a blazer at the waist with a belt, or just cinch the waist of your shirt and leave the blazer hanging open for a more casual look. Etro showed this amazing paisley blazer look at their fall 2011 runway show. I loved the way that they exaggerated the print by mixing the blazer with a complementary printed shirt. You could also recreate this Etro look by combining a patterned blazer with a solid shirt and printed silk scarf.

The bold print in the subtle shades is perfect. GREAT pairing with the bootcut jeans. Your getting so good at matching these runways looks perfectly..actually improving upon them in my opinion.

Oh my, you really know how to put the most lovely outfits together lady!! I always wish I had the knack of making jeans as chic as you do. The jacket is quite a fantastic find...and don't even get me started on that darling owl necklace!!

I feel like patterned blazers can be tricky pieces, but this one is quite pretty. Love the vintage coach as well!
