I found this gorgeous royal purple poncho at Einstein's Attic vintage shop in Kent, Ohio for a mere $10.00. I fell in love with the vintage feel and overtly opulent design. I'm a sucker for a good poncho anyway, so it didn't take much to convince me that this garment had found a new home. This rich color pairs beautifully with black, as demonstrated in this Devi Kroell runway look. I loved the velvet complement, and so emulated the fabric combination in my outfit. To max the vintage appeal, I added this vintage turban from my grandmother along with these matching thrifted kitten heels. I debated bell bottom jeans but opted for a skinny jegging instead to contrast the volume up top. A fine vintage piece like this one can be remixed from fall to winter to spring, and I look forward to playing with it some more.
